Hi, my name is Erin McCabe. I teach at Black Hawk, Tower Rock and Merrimac Community Charter School. This is my fourth year of teaching and my second year teaching in the Sauk Prairie School District. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of WI-Milwaukee and have previous teaching experience in the Milwaukee area. I moved to Madison a year and 1/2 ago and have fallen in love with the area.
My favorite art medium is photography. I take lots and lots of pictures in my spare time, both professionally and for fun. I also enjoy crafting, reading, hiking, boating and spending time with my fiance, Jesse, and my cat, Penny.
My goal in my classes is to create an environment where students will be exposed to various materials, artists, and cultures that will enrich their understanding of art, other subject matters, and the world around them.
